Mintsummer
Mintsummer is a Korean illustrator. She expresses everyday moments through her drawings and animations inspired by various perspectives. The rhythmic lightness that comes from the harmony of colorful and vivid colors and distinctive textures stimulates the audience's synesthesia, which helps viewers to find their own healing moments. The artist has collaborated with numerous media and brands such as tvN (One of the top TV networks in Korea), Burt's Bees (Natural skincare company), and Bluemoon Brewing. Co; she is also expanding the scope of her activities by visualizing themes in different ways such as flat illustrations, graphics, and so on. Mintsummer has received an art sponsorship from Samwon Paper, a well-known art and graphic paper supplier based in Korea. With their continuous and generous support, she is actively communicating with the public through various uses of paper and materials. She held her art exhibition at Seojin Art Space showcasing her work titled<Sparkling Moments> and participated in several group exhibitions such as <Spring fragrance Illustration>, <Oullim>, and <STAY>. The latest collaboration with artlab, M.A.L, <The Color Spot: Nature in Dreams> has been successfully launched and well-received.
민트썸머는 일상의 순간들을 다양한 시선을 통해 그림과 애니메이션으로 표현하는 일러스트 작가입니다. 다채롭고 뚜렷한 색감, 텍스처의 조화에서 오는 리드미컬한 경쾌함은 관객들의 공감각을 자극시키고 각자 자신만의 마음 속 치유를 찾을 수 있도록 안내합니다. 채널 tvN, 버츠비, 블루문 등의 여러 매체 및 브랜드와 협업 했으며 평면 일러스트 뿐 아니라 그래픽, 애니메이션 등의 다양한 방식으로 주제를 시각화 하며 활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있습니다. 미술용지 및 다양한 그래픽 용지를 공급하는 삼원페이퍼에서 아티스트들을 지원하는 아트스폰서십 멤버로 선정되어 지류와 재료의 다양한 활용을 통해 활발히 활동을 하며 대중들과 소통하고 있습니다. <반짝이는 순간들>로 서진 아트스페이스에서 개인 전시를 진행했고 <봄향 일러스트>, <어울림>, <STAY>등의 단체전을 다수 진행한 바 있으며, 미디어 아트랩 M.A.L과 협업하여 일러스트 기반의 미디어아트 전시 ’The color spot : 꿈 속의 자연’을 진행하며 호평을 얻고 있습니다.
